 Thrashing

Let , in the point λ the CPU utilization maximum and degree of multiprogramming 

in a particular point p.Then page fault increase that's why the thrashing will started.

To Reduce Thrashing:

• Increase the main memory size.

• Reduce the long term scheduler.

Effect of Thrashing:

All CPU utilization will degraded then through-put and performance will reduced.
