Multi-processor
Multi-processing:
Multi-processing is the use of two or more Central processing units (C.P.U) with a single computer system.
Classification and Types:
Multiprocessing can be classified according to processor symmetric, the number of instructions and data streams, types of coupling.
The types are-
i) Processor Symmetric
ii) Instruction and Data streams
iii) Processor Coupling

Advantages:
i) Increase Thoughput //per unit time how many process run or complete
ii)Increased Reliability //if one processer is damage but your task not stop beacuse other process run the task.
iii)Cost Saving // buy 4 computer or buy 4 cpu for 1 computer is most cost effective
iv) Battery Efficient
iv) True parallal Processing //in same time we run differct process
Disadvantages:
i) More Comlex
ii)Overhead or Coupling reduce thoughtput
iii)Large main memory
